I'm done diddly done!

All that's left is to move out and move in. And then anticipate my marks. Good thing about this term is that I have no anxiety about failing any of my classes. I won't get stellar marks, but passing is pretty rewarding. =P

No insightful post today. Just me being super happy that I'm done. Also, would just like to say I will be internetless from the first to the eigth. Which makes me sad. =( I suppose texting is in order! xDDD

Cioa!

OMG. Best email of life.

I came back from my TA presentation session, and this is what I found waiting in my queensmail inbox.

Hi Everybody

we seem to have picked up some items of clothing over the past few weeks. We have:

- a pair of women's size 29-32 designer jeans, complete with belt, that were found up in Room 427 of Dupuis a few weeks ago
- a pair of black men's dress shoes, and a navy blazer, that were found in Room 215, Dupuis last week

My sense is that people are changing clothes and forgetting to take all of their clothing with them (either that, or there are some people walking around in interesting outfits).

Anyway, if you happen to be missing a pair of jeans or shoes or a blazer, please see Maureen in the Main Office.

In other news...

It seems that something eXXXtra special may have happened in the lunch lounge on the second floor. I have to say that we were *not* happy to have all the violet dripped all over the place, and the handprints on the table, so we would really prefer that whatever activity was taking place be conducted off campus - "eXXtra special" is still pretty good, even if it is lacking an "X". Location isn't everything. The dye really does tend to stain table tops, finger nails, and the like, and now when we see people this time of year with purple hands and finger nails, well, who knows what we're going to think. We may have to replace the table because it is stained. So please - whoever was "working" with the dye, or has plans to - please take this off campus! Thank you!

That's all for now.

And finally,

I would like to wish all of you all the best in your exams.

Take care,

Jim M.

First off, i hope the girl who owns those pants was changing. I think it would be rather alarming to find someone running the streets with no pants. I would be embarassed to go pick them up though. Just sayin'.

And I love how this guys just says "In other news..." and goes on to talk about doing "something eXXXtra special" and using quotation marks everywhere. For those who don't understant this email, it's fine. I'm not going to explain it.

Now that I've gotten the laughter out of my system, I'm back to studying. "Yay."

Easter now a reason to party?

Somehow that's not right.
Now I'm not religious, but I don't think that the easter long weekend is an excuse for people to go out and get drunk. Even I get offended by that!
I don't particularly care whether they're religious or not, but don't use the easter weekend to party it up. It's just another weekend for you idiots.

< edit >
What baffles me more is how people say "thanks for making it the best night ever, even if I don't remember it." Could someone enlighten me on how that's a GOOD thing? Do people who lose their memory because of an accident think it was the best thing that happened to them?
I don't usually fb-stalk, but on occasion I will stop go through pictures of old school "friends". Today I stumbled upon a girl who had gotten completely smashed and who said the above statement. All those pictures make me wonder how much you could respect yourself to do that. Your body is NOT meant to intake copious amounts of tequila and various other forms of the oh-so-friendly ethanol (i would know). Your liver probably hates you. Admittedly, it's a good idea to have a certain tolerance level for future social events in the real world. But still, it just gets to me when girls act like that. BAH.

Summer

Top Ten Reasons Why Summer/Almost Summer Sucks.
01. It's hot and gross. Enter HUMIDEX.
02. It's way too sunny. It hurts my eyes. I'd rather have snow.
03. Bees. They seriously hurt when you get stung.
04. Girls. They seem to think that because it's starting to get a little warm out, it's appropriate to wear, well... NOTHING.
05. Socks an sandals. Shorts and sweaters.
06. Lack of a reason to wear my GPA unless it's frosh week.
07. Plants. I hate allergies and they hate me. >=(
08. Air conditioning. Idiots like to turn up the AC so that they can wear sweaters indoors. WTF.
09. No more home made soup. Same reason why I can't bake as much in the summer =(. This also relates back to 1.
10. Bird poop everywhere. And I mean everywhere.

Top Ten Reasons Why Summer/Almost Summer is Awesome.
01. No school. Which by definition means no assignments and exams.
02. Barbeques!
03. Frosh week!
04. No cracked skin due to dryness.
05. Salads with all sorts of fun veggies and dressings!
06. Assortment of delish fruits!
07. In connection with 8, milkshake/smoothies!
08. The loss of all the weight gained during winter.
09. Bubbletea and Iced Caps!
10. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
