Easter now a reason to party?

Somehow that's not right.
Now I'm not religious, but I don't think that the easter long weekend is an excuse for people to go out and get drunk. Even I get offended by that!
I don't particularly care whether they're religious or not, but don't use the easter weekend to party it up. It's just another weekend for you idiots.

< edit >
What baffles me more is how people say "thanks for making it the best night ever, even if I don't remember it." Could someone enlighten me on how that's a GOOD thing? Do people who lose their memory because of an accident think it was the best thing that happened to them?
I don't usually fb-stalk, but on occasion I will stop go through pictures of old school "friends". Today I stumbled upon a girl who had gotten completely smashed and who said the above statement. All those pictures make me wonder how much you could respect yourself to do that. Your body is NOT meant to intake copious amounts of tequila and various other forms of the oh-so-friendly ethanol (i would know). Your liver probably hates you. Admittedly, it's a good idea to have a certain tolerance level for future social events in the real world. But still, it just gets to me when girls act like that. BAH.
