HOORAYY!

Exams for the fall term of 2009 are officially over, and I am once again allowed to blog! Cheer Cheer Cheer.
Hm, so perhaps I will look back on 2009, since I might not be on until I get back to Kingston.

&January
Winter term of first year begins. This is not that exciting, especially since it means school was starting again. =(
House hunting. It's not that fun, especially not in the cold. =(
&February
My first reading week. It's really not that different from March break. Like, at all. My attempt at working? Fail.
Birthday dinner. Don't know what to say to this. It didn't put me in the best of moods.
FREC skits and interviews. Wow. Just too much fun for words. Also an anxious week, waiting for results.
My 19th birthday. Well, that's a first. (Hmmm, it was apparently NOT my last, as I had hoped. I am still currently trying to NOT pull one of these again.) Then again, you only turn 19 once. Thanks for the good times. =)
&March
St. Patrick's Day? Well, I never really paid attention to it. I noticed it on campus this year. LOTS of people in green. Said people were also very drunk.
My first spaz-out at my room-mate. Not entirely my fault. Some people are just very ULGH and don't listen.
I think this was also when I started to think a lot about my myself and how I am.
&April
Exams. Exams. Exams. Always fun times.
Good thing about exams? Signifies the end of term, which means HOME. Awesome homemade Chinese foods ftw.
&May, June, July, August
Sad how all of it is clumped together. Four months of bumming around and not doing much. Lots of Alias, Friends, and miscellaneous movies.
Morgan comes home. Awesome day at the park. Smiles all around. =)
Disagreements about cottage before school term. This makes me sad.
&September
Preweek and Frosh Week ftw. 'Nuf said.
School starts once more, and I realised how different everything is when we don't live in res, and classes aren't full of the same people over and over again.
First class of 213: Smarties and Reese's Pieces. 'Nuf said. First time I realised how artsci my courses were. This makes me sad.
Conflicts in housing. PULLING HAIR OUT. That, and just full out anger at everything.
Fauxcoming. I spent it baking. Best way to go. Though I am somewhat sad I did not see the mounted police. Also, pulling a Jess #2.
&October
Thanksgiving. Family problems. Brings many personal thoughts about.
Missed going home several times. This made me sad.
Halloween? What's this? I spent it at home. Most probably watching a TV show, or a movie.
&November
Finally, home. Feels nice to be home and around the family. Did not feel, even once, the need to be anywhere but there. Haircut!
WREC. Pulling a Jess #3. 'Cept bad. MUCH worse.
Rachel's birthday in lab. Epic win. Mickey Bear, anyone? I will dearly miss my 211 lab buddies. <3
&December
Exams. Exams. Exams. Frosh review session. MO diagrams = death.
Dollhouse comes back and BLOWS MY FREAKIN' MIND. I am pleased. Not so much with its cancellation, though.
EPIC CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE WALNUT COOKIES FTW. Also, red and green sugar cookies. Yum. =)
First year slam. Most epic fail of life. Worse than the pole, and I thought that was impossible. Made my toes freeze for no reason, and nothing picture worthy, unless a picture was required to display the lameness that was the nonslam of Sci'13. Thumbs DOWN.
Home. I am expecting some awesome chillages. Christmas! New Years! THREE FREE WEEKS OF BRAINLESS NONWORK AND GOOD FOOD!!!

I think this year, I should actually have some New Year's Resolutions. I already have one so far: I plan on getting out more and quit being such a no life. I think I'll start by going to Ritual weekly (since classes end at 11:30 for me) and by doing SOMETHING for EngWeek2010. This resolution also involves trying harder to maintain my friendships. (I'm getting a head start on this one. This pleases me.)

See you in the new year!

PS. It appears that if I want it enough, it really WILL happen. That's new.
