Yesterday was a snow day, which was good, because I slept in really late, and then started to feel better. =) That caused the math quiz/inclassassignment to be pushed back, which was not helpful, because I TOTALLY bombed that bugger. The foods test wasn't today, for which I am glad! =) But it was English class fifth period that TOTALLY made my day. Somehow managed to talk her out of making us have silent reading time. She talked about the journals and handed them back, and I was practically holding my breath as I turned to find out what my mark was. I won't say what it is, but I am SO happy about it. I wasn't going to tell anyone, but SOMEONE - ahem, Michelle Lui - went and told everyone who asked what my mark was. And I'm just like, ulgh, with all the "WHAT?!"s I got. LOL. But at SLSB Katy Ha high-fived me for my mark! AWESOME. I am totally hoping that I'll be able to continue doing just as well for my 2 other sets of journals. Then my midterm mark will be high! YAY!! =))))
After school was SLSB, and we spent the ENTIRE hour folding stars, not even kidding. Random talks about random things, YAY! =) Four o'clock, left SLSB, and met with mommy outside. Went to MayDoh for dinner/"ha mm cha". And then went shopping to find something for my dress. Still haven't found anything, but am thinking about buying a ribbon around waist and then a shawl like thinger, because my mom thinks I might be cold. Whatever. Argh, the colour of my dress is THE most ridiculous colour ever: it's purple, but red, and everything we looked at was either too red, or too purple. ARGH. I swear, that shawl thinger I'm gunna buy is probably going to end up being more expensive than my dress itself. RARR. Shopping around, I saw a lot of pretty prom dresses, but I like mine enough that I'm not even that tempted to get ANOTHER one. LOL. ARGH. And looking for shoes is hard too. HUMPH. Oh! and while randomly shopping at Chinese stores, there was this SUPER DUPER UBER SOFT cute lil scarf, that was like.. marshmallow-y! I WANT IT!
Saw Jo and Lea coming out of the salon with shorter hair, and bright streaks, respectively. New and interesting. =P
Anyway, now I'm home, just relaxing, because I know that come March Break, I'll be working hard on like... everything. ULGH! MUST DO WELL ON NEXT JOURNALS! Oh and I have to find a third book, because I'm not allowed to do "The Lord of the Flies".
